John M. Jaeger

John M. Jaeger is Professor and Graduate Coordinator specializing in marine sedimentology and glacial processes at the University of Florida. His research reconstructs Quaternary climate-tectonic interactions through sediment routing analysis in polar regions including Alaska, Greenland, and Antarctica.

Current projects investigate moraine building impacts on Greenland glaciers and Alaskan tectonic feedbacks using IODP drill cores. His work integrates field mapping, core logging, and geophysical imaging to decode erosion patterns and ocean-climate archives.
