John M. Anderson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography & Anthropology at Louisiana State University (LSU), serving as Map Librarian for the Cartographic Information Center. His research focuses on historical cartography, particularly maps produced by the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) during World War II. He holds a B.S. (1981), M.L.I.S. (1995) from LSU, and an M.A. from the University of Colorado at Denver (1990).
