John Linnell is a Professor at the University of Inland Norway's Faculty of Applied Ecology, Agricultural Sciences and Biotechnology, within the Department of Forestry and Wildlife Management. His research focuses on complex human-wildlife relationships, particularly large carnivores and herbivores, with global applications. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses including 'Large Predator Ecology', 'Human Dimensions of Wildlife Management', and 'People & Nature' at the PhD level.
Key research projects include CoCo (Co-creating coexistence) and involvement in the WILDCOM research group (Wildlife communities in a changing world).
