John Hoeks is a Professor at the Faculty of Arts, University of Groningen, affiliated with the Discourse and Communication (DISCO) department. His research focuses on sustainability transitions, health literacy, and narrative psychology, with emphasis on behavioral change related to plant-based diets, environmental communication, and public health interventions. He has been recognized with the Faculty of Arts Impact Award 2019.
