Prof. Dr.-Ing. John Heppe is a Professor in the Faculty of Engineering at Saarland University of Applied Sciences (htw saar), appointed from the Summer Semester 2023. His research and teaching focus on physical sensor technology, mechatronics, and biomechatronic applications. He has extensive industry experience in medical device development and holds multiple patents in moisture detection systems for vascular access monitoring.
