Dr. John Gilmour is a Research Fellow and Adjunct Research Fellow at the School of Social Science, Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Queensland. He holds a Bachelor of Psychology and Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Southern Queensland. His interdisciplinary work bridges psychology with practical applications in criminology, healthcare, and digital security contexts.
Dr. Gilmour's primary research interests include:

- Social media's impact on mental health and social support systems
