John Gillies is an Honorary Professor at the University of Edinburgh, affiliated with the Usher Institute under the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. He serves as Senior Adviser to the Global Health Academy and Co-Director of the University of Edinburgh Compassion Initiative.
