Professor John G Brisson II is a Faculty Director of the MIT-Singapore Program and serves in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is also the Director of the MIT/SUTD Collaboration Office.
- Education: B.Eng. (1981) from Stevens Institute of Technology, M.Sc. (1983) and Ph.D. (1990) from Harvard University
His research focuses on cryogenic engineering, including Sub-Kelvin refrigeration and Hydrogen liquefaction, with applications in mechanical engineering, energy systems, and nanotechnology. He contributes to interdisciplinary areas such as ocean engineering, bioengineering, and applied physics.
