Dr. John Furrow is a faculty member at the School of Education at Cairn University, where he has taught since 2019. He holds a PhD and MSEd in Educational Leadership from Columbia International University, a BMus from Cairn University, and a BS in Bible from Cairn University.

His research interests focus on Educational Leadership, Educational Administration, and Instrumental Music Education, with an emphasis on integrating Christian values into pedagogy and leadership practices.
The publications from 2017 highlight his expertise in faith-based pedagogy, curriculum development, and educational ethics. These works explore themes such as Kingdom Education, servant leadership in teaching, and applying Christian principles to classroom challenges.
Dr. Furrow received the Roy Lowrie Christian School Leadership Award in 2000. He actively contributes to ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) through speaking engagements and accreditation leadership.
He teaches graduate courses at Cairn University, including EDU 744 School Law and EDU 717 Theoretical and Philosophical Foundations. His career spans over three decades in K–12 Christian education administration and teacher training.
