John F. Martin

Dr. John F. Martin serves as an Associate Professor in the Business discipline at Southwestern Christian University since 2018, with prior adjunct service from 2007. He holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Northcentral University (2017), a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®), and degrees in Christian Leadership and Business Administration. His research focuses on service learning outcomes and civic engagement in higher education. Key presentations include studies on nursing student engagement (2016-2017), faith-based healthcare practices (2013), and faith-learning integration in adult education (1999). He has also delivered a keynote on fundraising strategies for nonprofits. Dr. Martin teaches courses such as Business Ethics, Nonprofit Leadership, and Strategic Management. His mission emphasizes fostering spiritual, mental, and emotional wholeness through education and service.
