John Edward Cross

John Edward Cross is a Master Teacher at the UABTeach program within the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He holds a BS in Mathematics with a minor in STEM Education and two M.S. degrees in Instructional Design and Development and Instructional Leadership, all from UAB. His career includes roles as a Behavior Aide, 7th-grade Math teacher, and Math Instructional Coach at Jefferson County Schools and I3 Academy. He helped implement number fluency techniques and created an RTI/MTSS framework. Currently, he supports teacher training through UABTeach and serves as Vice President of the nonprofit RANSOM.
