John Dunne

John Dunne serves as Clinical Professor at The University of Western Australia's School of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine. He chairs the International League Against Epilepsy – Asia Oceania (2021-2025) and leads the Western Australian Comprehensive Epilepsy Service, which he established in 1989. As a national executive member of the Epilepsy Society of Australia and former chairman of the Asian Epilepsy Academy (2015-2019), he drives regional epilepsy initiatives across Asia and Oceania.

The research demonstrates increasing integration of clinical data with public policy development, highlighting critical gaps in commercial driving eligibility standards and long-term morbidity patterns across treatment approaches.
