John D. Port

John D. Port, M.D., Ph.D., is a Professor of Radiology and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He serves as a Consultant in the Department of Radiology and focuses on developing novel MRI and MR spectroscopy tools for psychiatric and metabolic disorder diagnostics. His academic roles include chairing the ISMRM Psychiatric MR Imaging and Spectroscopy Study Group (2011-2012) and leading research projects such as the 'Cortical Lesions in MS' initiative funded by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs.
