John D. Orme is a Professor of Politics and Manning M. Pattillo Professor of Liberal Arts at Oglethorpe University, where he has served since 1983. He coordinates the International Affairs Program and holds an office in Lupton 313. His research focuses on causes of war and peace, international politics, and U.S. foreign policy. Orme earned a B.A. from the University of Oregon, and M.A. and Ph.D. from Harvard University. He was a Research Fellow at Harvard’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs (1990-1992).
