Dr John Chessher is a Lecturer in Finance at Henley Business School, University of Reading. With thirty years of experience in the finance industry across Europe and Asia, he has held leadership roles such as CEO of Cenkos Securities Asia and Head of Asia Pacific Equity Research at Schroder Investment Management. He co-founded Fintech business Tradewize and software firm AnaLec Infotech in New Delhi.
John’s academic credentials include an MA in Engineering Science from Oxford University, alongside DBA, MSc, and MBA qualifications from Henley Business School. He is a CFA charter-holder and associate of the CISI. His specialisms focus on capital markets, investment, sustainable finance, Fintech, and corporate/industry analysis.
He teaches modules such as Ethical Dilemmas in Finance (Module code: ICM515), Ethics in Investment Management (Module code: IC105), and Stock Index Futures (Module code: ICM308), emphasizing critical perspectives in finance, government, and multilateral organizations.
