John Butts is a Senior Research Associate at the Georgia Health Policy Center (GHPC) within Georgia State University's Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. With over 10 years of public health experience, he specializes in technical assistance for rural health initiatives, focusing on capacity-building and long-term sustainability.

His work includes evaluation of SAMHSA-funded Project LAUNCH Georgia, addressing early childhood development, and managing the Healthcare Georgia Foundation's Childhood Obesity Prevention Grant Program. Mr. Butts also serves as a board member of the Georgia Rural Health Association, actively engaging with community health systems development through GHPC's initiatives.
