John Balzarini, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology & Criminal Justice at Delaware State University. His research focuses on urban sociology, gentrification, rental housing dynamics, and neoliberal urbanization. He holds a Ph.D., M.A., and B.A. in Sociology from Temple University (2013, 2006) and West Chester University (2001).
