John B. Diamond is the Kellner Family Distinguished Chair in Urban Education and Professor of Education in the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is also a faculty affiliate in Afro-American Studies and Educational Policy Studies. As a sociologist of education, his research focuses on the intersection of social inequality and educational opportunity, examining how educational leadership, policies, and practices influence student outcomes.
