John A. Mattiacci

Dr. John A. Mattiacci serves as Dean and CEO of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. A board-certified podiatric surgeon since 1970 and fellow of the American College of Foot Surgeons, he concurrently leads the First National Guild for Healthcare Providers of the Lower Extremity/OPEIU Guild 45 and holds executive positions with OPEIU Region II and the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO.

His clinical and academic expertise spans podiatric surgery, diabetic wound care, and healthcare systems leadership. He pioneered the Diabetic Chronic Wounds Center and drives initiatives in medical ethics through his PPMA committee roles, focusing on practical solutions for complex lower-extremity pathologies and interdisciplinary care models.
