John A G Roberts

John A G Roberts is a Professor and Deputy Head of the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney. He serves as Chief Investigator of the ARC Centre of Excellence MASCOS and is Vice-President of the Australian Mathematical Society. His academic career spans several decades with significant contributions to nonlinear dynamical systems research.

Roberts' research primarily focuses on nonlinear dynamical systems, with particular expertise in integrable dynamical systems, symmetry and time-reversal properties, and algebraic dynamics.
