Johannes Voget

Prof. Dr. Johannes Voget is a Professor of Business Administration, Taxation, and Finance at the University of Mannheim, affiliated with the Business School and the Accounting & Taxation department. He previously served as a Research Fellow at the Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation, where he continues as a Research Associate.

• PhD in Economics from Tilburg University (thesis: tax competition and tax evasion)
• MSc in Econometrics from Maastricht University

His research focuses on international corporate taxation, corporate finance, public finance, and cross-border investment, with significant contributions to empirical studies on tax policy, M&A productivity effects, and profit shifting.
