Johannes Steinbach is a Research Associate and Doctoral Researcher at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. He is affiliated with the Center for Religious Studies and the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1475 Metaphors of Religion, where he leads the subproject Grammar as a religious metaphor. Additionally, he participates in the CERES Early Career Researchers' Program and the Graduate School of Metaphor and Religion. His research focuses on intersections between religious concepts, linguistic structures, and cultural metaphors. He is based at the university’s Bochum campus in office GB 2/147.
