Johannes Riphagen

Johannes Riphagen is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, specializing in Practical Theology with a focus on ecclesial practices and liturgy. He also serves as Rector of the Dutch Baptist Seminary in Amsterdam. His research interests include Baptist theology, liturgical studies, evangelicalism, ecclesial practices, and ethics. Riphagen has contributed to academic journals like Inspirare and Ecclesial Practices, with recent work exploring contemporary theological discernment and church community dynamics in the Netherlands.
