Prof. Dr. Johannes Kollmann is a renowned ecologist at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), holding the Chair of Restoration Ecology within the TUM School of Life Sciences. His research focuses on restoring anthropogenically disturbed ecosystems, including investigations into reference systems, plant material selection, invasive species, and long-term monitoring. He has held academic positions at ETH Zurich, the University of Copenhagen, and TUM since 2010.
