معرفی
Johannes Hahmann is a researcher at RWTH Aachen University and affiliated with the DWI – Leibniz Institute for Interactive Materials in Aachen, Germany. His work focuses on sonogenetics, a field that uses ultrasound technology for remote cellular control at the molecular level. He contributes to research on mechanosensitive ion channels, thermal sonogenetics, and ultrasound-mediated biomolecular imaging.
- Research Interests: Sonogenetic mediators (Piezo1, MscL, TRP channels), thermal and mechanical ultrasound effects, cancer immunotherapy, neurodegenerative disease treatment
- Funding: German Research Foundation SFB 985, Werner Siemens Foundation's TriggerINK project
- Collaborations: Max Planck School Matter to Life, Center for Biohybrid Medical Systems (CBMS)
