معرفی
Johannes Amos serves as a Professor in the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering at Technische Hochschule Augsburg, specializing in sustainable construction technologies. He is a core faculty member of the Energy Efficiency Design – E2D Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) program where he teaches the Building Physics and Simulation (BPSIM) module.
His research and teaching focus on energy-efficient building design, integrating computational modeling with sustainable construction practices. Key areas include thermal dynamics optimization, environmental building systems, and digital construction methodologies for reducing carbon footprints in architectural projects. His work aligns with THA's research priorities in sustainable infrastructure and energy-efficient planning.
Professor Amos contributes to THA's research initiatives in sustainable architecture, particularly through the E2D program's practical projects like the Carboneum Cottbus series and energy-efficient campus developments. His expertise supports student design-build projects focused on climate-responsive construction.
As an active faculty member, he participates in international workshops and excursions related to sustainable building practices, including collaborations documented in THA's project archives such as the 'Vogelwarte - Umweltbildungsstation' environmental education station in the Allgäu Alps nature reserve.
