Johannes A. Jehle serves as Institute Director at the Institute for Biological Plant Protection, part of the Julius Kühn Institute (Federal Research Center for Cultivated Plants). He also holds an academic position as Associate Professor at Technische Universität Darmstadt.
Dr. Jehle's research focuses on fundamental questions in biological plant protection with particular expertise in insect virology. His work encompasses the biological and molecular characterization and classification of insect viruses, as well as the evaluation of biological plant protection products.
