Johanna Pirker is a Professor of Media Informatics at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and an Associate Professor at TU Graz in Austria. She leads the Game Lab Graz research group and focuses on games with emphasis on AI, human-computer interaction, data analysis, and VR technologies.
Research Interests: Her work spans Game Studies, Game-based Learning, and Game-based Research, integrating Artificial Intelligence, Human-Computer Interaction, and Virtual Reality to explore games as tools for education, collaboration, and solving real-world problems.
Labs & Teams: She leads the Game Lab Graz, a research group dedicated to designing, developing, and evaluating games and VR experiences.
