Johanna Pachmayr

Prof. Johanna Pachmayr is a full Professor and Dean of Pharmacy at Paracelsus Medical University (PMU) in Salzburg, Austria. She leads the Department of Pharmaceutical Biology and Clinical Pharmacy, and holds additional roles in the Rectorate. Her research focuses on clinical pharmacy, geriatric drug therapy, growth factor signaling pathways, and patient safety in medication management.

Her work spans over 73 publications since 2009, with recent emphasis on vitamin D screening campaigns, drug shortages analysis, and medication-related issues in surgical and geriatric populations. She actively organizes educational outreach programs for schools on topics like doping, vaccinations, and drug interactions.
