Dr. Johanna Murphy is an Assistant Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Medicine at Queen's University. She holds cross-appointments in the Faculty of Health Sciences and is affiliated with the Translational Institute of Medicine (TIME). Her roles include clinician, medical educator, and KHSC Chair of the Patient Records Committee (2016-2020). She specializes in health systems, public health, and quality improvement, with a focus on deprescribing in elderly patients via the Medsafer software tool.
