His doctoral work under Professors Bikiaris, Lambropoulou, and Zemljic focused on poly(ethylene furanoate) (PEF) nanocomposites for food packaging. He has collaborated with institutions across Slovenia, the Netherlands, and Greece, including the University of Maribor (antimicrobial analysis, ToF-SIMS), Maastricht University (MALDI imaging), and Hatzopoulos S.A. (industrial scale-up).
He has published in journals like Polymers, Molecules, and Polymer Testing, and holds an Indian patent for biodegradable packaging coatings. His career includes prior research at ITC Ltd. (India), optimizing biodegradable paper coatings.
