معرفی
Johan Hellsvik is a visiting researcher at Uppsala University's Department of Physics and Astronomy (Materials Theory) and an application expert in materials theory at PDC Center for High Performance Computing, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). His work focuses on advanced atomistic spin dynamics simulations and predictive modeling of magnetic materials, particularly organic and quantum systems. He contributes to initiatives like the Swedish QuEST for BIFROST and the Organic Materials Database (OMDB).
Research Interests
- Modeling organic magnetic materials via materials informatics
- Ultrafast magnetization dynamics in multisublattice systems
- Frustrated and multiferroic materials
- Spin-lattice dynamics with first-principles accuracy
- Development of the UppASD software
Publications highlight trends in spin-wave excitation spectra (2020), spin-lattice coupling (2019), and foundational methodologies for atomistic spin dynamics (2008–2012). His work bridges theoretical physics, computational modeling, and practical applications in neutron spectroscopy and spintronics.
