Joey Sik Chun Lam is a Lecturer at the University of Surrey's School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, affiliated with the Computer Science Research Centre. He holds roles as CS Exams Officer (Levels 4 & 5) and School EDI Lead, contributing to institutional governance. His academic journey includes a BEng from HKUST, an MSc from the University of Aberdeen, and a PhD focused on ontology repair for the Semantic Web. Lam has held postdoctoral roles, including an EU-funded project, and teaching positions at Aberdeen and other institutions, earning the Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
