Joerg Aichelin is a Professor at the University of Nantes, France, where he has held the title of Distinguished Professor (classe exceptionnelle) since 2009. Previously, he served as a Full Professor (1994–2009) and Associate Professor (1991–1994) at the same university. His academic career spans postdoctoral and assistant roles at institutions such as the University of Heidelberg, Michigan State University, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
Research Interests: Dr. Aichelin specializes in Theoretical Physics, with a focus on Nuclear Physics, Particle Physics, and Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD). His work explores Quark Matter, Heavy-ion Collisions, and Nuclear Theory, often linked to collaborative European research networks.
