Joel Eklof

Joel Eklof is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Studies and Sciences at the University of Puget Sound. His research focuses on understanding how warming climates transform vulnerable landscapes, from thawing permafrost in Alaska to heat-stressed neighborhoods in Tacoma. Additionally, he designs and evaluates STEAM programs for underserved youth in climate-impacted areas.
