Joel Beam is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Clinical & Applied Movement Sciences at the University of North Florida, where he also teaches in the Graduate Program in Athletic Training. He joined the University of North Florida in 1997 as Head Athletic Trainer and became faculty in the Brooks College of Health in 2001. His research focuses on acute skin trauma management and injury prevention interventions.
