Joe Strain is a Professor of Internal Medicine Clinical Faculty at South Dakota State University (SSDU) within the Department of Pharmacy Practice, College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions. He has held positions as Assistant Professor (2003–2008), Associate Professor (2008–2014), and currently serves as Professor (since 2014). His clinical practice and teaching focus on internal medicine and infectious disease, with active involvement in antimicrobial stewardship and anticoagulation committees at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
