Joe Gomes is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at the University of Iowa, affiliated with the Iowa Technology Institute and the Iowa Initiative for Artificial Intelligence. With a PhD in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley (2015), he focuses on computational material design, quantum simulations, and physics-informed machine learning.
