Jochen Teizer

Jochen Teizer is a Professor at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), affiliated with the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Digital Building Technologies. His research focuses on enhancing construction safety, sustainability, and efficiency through Digital Twins, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Extended Reality (XR). He supervises multiple PhD projects addressing topics like occupational health, resource efficiency, and predictive site monitoring.

Teizer leads significant research initiatives such as the BEEYONDERS project on European construction sovereignty and the Femern Belt Tunnel Lighthouse Project. He serves on the editorial board of the Automation in Construction journal and contributes to international organizations like the International Association on Automation and Robotics in Construction.
