Jochen A. Müller

Jochen A. Müller is a Senior Scientist at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ in Leipzig, Germany, within the Department of Molecular Environmental Biotechnology. His research focuses on microbial transformations of organic pollutants, particularly using molecular tools to quantify biocatalysts and analyze microbial roles in contaminated systems. He previously held academic positions at Morgan State University and conducted postdoctoral research at Stanford University and the University of Maryland.
