Jocelyn Paynter is a music specialist and choral faculty member affiliated with the Calgary Board of Education and Mount Royal University. She serves as the Director of the MR Ariel Choir and contributes to the Mount Royal University Early Childhood Kodály Program as an instructor.
Her expertise lies in music education, with a focus on Kodály (Level 1 & 2) and Orff (Level 1) pedagogies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Bachelor of Education, emphasizing holistic and age-appropriate music instruction.
Beyond academia, Jocelyn actively participates in the Enchor Chamber Choir with her family and enjoys gardening and nature exploration. She is dedicated to fostering young musicians' creativity and passion for music.
