Dr. Jocelyn Glazier is a Professor in the UNC School of Education, affiliated with the Professional Leadership and Practice Area and Teaching and Learning departments. She holds leadership experience as department chair and program director, overseeing initiatives like the Masters for Experienced Teachers and the Teacher Education and Curriculum doctoral program. Her research focuses on equitable and transformative pedagogy through experiential education, guided by social justice commitments.

Awards & Mentoring: She received the Spark Award for service to Durham schools and a national fellowship for transformative teaching. She mentors new teachers via Reconnect and Recharge and advises The High School Journal. Her grants include work on global teacher education and district equity initiatives.
