Joaquin Vieira

Joaquin Vieira is a Professor of Astronomy and Physics at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign), holding affiliations with the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA). He serves as Director of Astronomy at NCSA and Founding Director of the Center for AstroPhysical Surveys (CAPS). His research focuses on observational cosmology, instrumentation, and the cosmic microwave background (CMB).
