Joaquín Delgado Fernández is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) within the University of Luxembourg. He holds a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from the International University of La Rioja (Spain).
His research focuses on distributed computing and advanced machine-learning applications, particularly federated learning and privacy-preserving techniques like differential privacy and secure aggregation. Key application domains include energy sector load forecasting and financial credit risk assessment. He previously worked in the private sector to gain practical experience before expanding into academic research during his doctoral studies.
