Joanne Porter is a Professor at Heriot-Watt University, affiliated with the School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society and the Institute for Life and Earth Sciences. Her research focuses on marine bryozoans, artificial substrate ecology, and blue carbon ecosystems.
