Dr. Joanne Pepper is a Professor of Intercultural Religious Studies at Trinity Western University (TWU), located in Langley, British Columbia. She holds a PhD in Social History from the University of Warwick and has extensive cross-cultural experience in Latin America, Southeast Asia, and the former Soviet Union. Her expertise spans biblical studies, cross-cultural communication, global theologies, and TESL education. Dr. Pepper currently serves in a Spanish-speaking church for Latino migrant workers and actively engages in ministry alongside academic work.
