Joanna Nicholas is a Lecturer in Dance and Performance Science at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Edith Cowan University. With a PhD in Exercise and Health from the University of Western Australia (2019), she specializes in performance health, injury prevention, and wellbeing in performing arts.
