Dr. Joan Nix is an Associate Professor of Economics and Director of the Quantitative Economics Major at Queens College, CUNY. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from NYU and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Queens College. Her research focuses on behavioral economics, corporate culture as behavioral risk management, net neutrality, crypto assets, and wavelet methodology. She has received the President’s Award for Teaching Excellence and advises students on academic and professional transitions.
