Jo White is a Senior Research Fellow and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), affiliated with the Health and Social Sciences department. Her work focuses on gender, sexuality, embodiment, and health inequalities, emphasizing qualitative methods and public involvement in research. She leads projects addressing health disparities among marginalized communities, including the ISSMAS initiative targeting Black African and Caribbean stroke patients and the TRUUD project linking urban design to public health.
