João Rocha is an Assistant Professor at the Viseu School of Education (Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, Portugal) since 2001. He completed his PhD in 2016 at the University of Aveiro with a focus on supervised teaching practice and professional development. His research spans

Research Themes: His work emphasizes participatory evaluation models, group work in primary education, and the integration of sustainable development principles into curricula. Academic Leadership: Rocha has coordinated Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Primary Education, served on self-assessment committees, and contributed to national and international educational policy discussions. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, particularly on teacher perceptions and curriculum challenges.
